The Avon Scout County Sailing Section is a Royal Yachting Association Recognised Training Centre, based at the David Woodhead entre at Novia Scotia Place within Bristol’s historic floating harbour. They also run the occasional session at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club.
They team provide dinghy sailing within Avon County, offering taster sessions and RYA courses for scouts and members of the public, as well as a regular sailing club, and skills coaching.
