Avon Scouts is recruiting enthusiastic volunteer leaders to support strategic and operational functions that underpin high-quality Scouting across the county. These are recognised leadership roles; some involve working directly with young people, while others focus on supporting leaders, systems and safe practice.
Safeguarding Volunteer Leader
Provide guidance, support and oversight to ensure safe, responsible Scouting throughout Avon.
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Volunteer Leader
Champion inclusive practice, shape accessible experiences, and support volunteers in embedding equity across their groups.
Communications & Media Volunteer Leader
Lead county-wide communication activity including digital content, photography, copywriting, social media and design.
Community Engagement Volunteer Leader
Strengthen partnerships with local organisations, schools, councils and community groups.
Property & Equipment Support Volunteer Leader
Support the Activities Groups with documentation, compliance and processes. Optional physical maintenance tasks available at Centenary Wood.
