Rickard Shield
The Rickard Sheild is a night navigation exercise aimed at Explorers, Rangers and Scout Network.
Explorers and Rangers can win the Rickard Shield, Network Scouts can win the Golden Boot.
Event Details
22nd – 23rd March 2025
- The event begins at 6pm, and trophies and certificates are presented at 9am the next morning.
- The challenge involves walking between 10-12 miles, completing challenges and answering questions along the way.
- A support team is on call, and teams are tracked throughout the event.
- Camping, refreshments, and breakfast are included in the cost of the event.
- Standard Registration costs £55 per team.
- Early bird registration costs £45, and is available until 21st February 2025.
- Teams must be made up of 4-6 people.
- At least two members must be competent with a map and compass.
- No advanced preparation is required.
