Archery

Running regular archery sessions each month at Saltford Scout HQ between 2pm to 6pm usually the second Sunday of the month. The sessions are open to Scouters or their family members. A reasonable charge is made to cover the cost of hall hire, materials, and equipment maintenance. Check our Facebook page for dates.

Saltford sessions currently are either indoors at the Scout HQ or on the field adjacent weather and light permitting. Saltford Scout HQ sessions are £3.00 per person if using the County kit or £1.50 if using your own kit

Coaching and Equipment – Full coaching will be provided by fully qualified Archery GB Coaches and Archery Leaders. All equipment is provided or you may bring along your own bow and arrows.

Duke of Edinburgh – Archery can be your skill or your sport.

Master-at-Arms – Scouts can earn this badge.

National Scout Archery Competition – Each year we take a team to represent the County, talk to your instructor about joining the team. It’s a great weekend camp.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
