Annual Shooting and Archery Competition.

On Sunday 27th September 2026Avon Scout Rifle Club will once again be holding its Annual Shooting and Archery Competition.  The venue will be Cleeve Hill Campsite, Kelston Road, Bath, BA1 9AB (The site is next to Oldfield School) We would like to invite the Scouts, Explorers, Network Members and Adults Members/leaders from all over Avon Scout District to join in this excellent event.

To do this, we are once again asking all DLV’s for your help and assistance by circulating the information within your own district to all of your various GTL’s, Scout Team Members, Explorer and Network unit Team Leads.  

We have successfully added disciplines for competitors to test their shooting and archery skills.  The competition is made up of compulsory disciplines, involving rifle and pistol shooting as well as archery and now Crossbow.  There is also the optional discipline of Clay Pigeon Shooting for everyone to try out if they wish. 

For the competition entry link please go to www.asrc.org.uk where competitors can sign up immediately and use our PayPal facility.  The entry fees this year will be £14.50 per person for the main competition and for theoptional Clay Pigeon shooting it will be a further £13.50 per person if required.  Sign up is on a first come basis, closing date for applications will be 1st September 2026 (Will close Early if our Maximum Number’s is Reached), participant numbers will be limited so please make sure you get the message out without delay.
