Six King’s Scouts Celebrated at Windsor Castle

Six young people from across the county recently travelled to Windsor Castle to take part in the national Day of Celebration, recognising their achievement of the prestigious King’s Scout Award.
The King’s Scout Award is the highest honour in Scouting, and earning it is no small feat. It represents years of dedication, service, and personal development. From volunteering in their communities to taking on new challenges and leading others, each recipient has shown real commitment and resilience along the way.
The Day of Celebration is a special moment, bringing together young people from across the UK who have all reached this milestone. Set against the backdrop of Windsor Castle, it’s a chance to reflect on their journey, celebrate their achievements, and mark the end of one chapter of their Scouting story.
As a county, we are incredibly proud of these six young people. Their hard work, determination, and willingness to push themselves embody everything Scouting stands for.
They are a real credit to their local groups, their leaders, and their communities and we look forward to seeing what they go on to achieve next.
