Discovering Local History with the 1st Mangotsfield Scouts!

The 1st Mangotsfield Scouts teamed up with Historic England to explore Staple Hill and Mangotsfield for their local history badge. Along the way, they discovered landmarks, viewed historic photos, and learned how the area has evolved. You can explore too, by following the wayfinding signs across our high streets to uncover local stories. This project is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and supported by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
