Kayaking Courses

Two day adult beginner kayaking courses leading to the British Canoeing Discover Award are available on the following dates:

• 11-12 May 2024
• 22-23 June 2024

No paddling experience is needed to sign up to this course. How

ever you should be water confident and be able to swim 25m while wearing a buoyancy aid. By the end of the course the participants may be awarded the British Canoeing Discover Certificate.

There will be a maximum of 8 students with 2 coaches. This excellent student to coach ratio allows for personalised coaching giving every student lots of individual attention.

These courses are primarily aimed at adult members of Scouting and Girlguiding. Any spaces not filled nearer the course dates may be made generally available to adults outside of these organisations.
