🍳 Avon County Cooking Competition 2026 – A Recipe for Success

On Sunday 8 February, Keynsham HQ was filled with energy, teamwork and some incredible aromas as 9 teams from 6 districts took part in the Avon County Cooking Competition.

Each team had two hours to prepare and cook a three-course meal, with staggered start times to ensure every dish could be presented hot to the judges. The standard this year was outstanding, and the judges were hugely impressed by the skill, organisation and creativity on display.

πŸ₯‰ Third Place: 1st Stoke Gifford OSR Troop

Well done also to the fantastic teams from:
17th Bristol (2 teams), Frampton Cotterell (2 teams), 174th Kingswood and 2nd Clevedon.

All teams received certificates, with trophies awarded to the winners and runners up, and the prestigious County Cooking Shield presented to the champions.

A huge congratulations to every young person who took part, you did your troops, groups and districts proud
