Avon Adventure 2020

We are pleased to announce that the 2020 Avon County Jamboree will be held at the North Somerset Showground, The Showground, Wraxall, Bristol, BS48 1NE from Friday 22nd May to Monday 25th May 2020.

Avon Adventure will be open to all members of Avon Scouting, Girlguiding Bristol and South Gloucestershire and Girlguiding Somerset North from Beavers and Rainbows to Rangers and Network. We also want to encourage Adult leaders and volunteers to attend as Service Team (IST).

To align with the true Jamboree spirit, groups will be placed within Sub Camps throughout the Jamboree to get to know others within the county. Each Sub Camp will be led by a Sub Camp Leader for which we are currently recruiting for.

Throughout the Jamboree, your sub camp will be venturing into a new zone (Water, Earth, Fire and Wood) each day full of themed activities. Further details of the specific activities will follow shortly.

As you can tell it is set to be an action-packed, adventurous weekend and one you will not want to miss. Bookings are opening from September 2019, so make sure to add the date to your diaries now!
