Bristol Pride 2019

Avon Scouts will be attending and participating in Bristol Pride 2019 on Saturday 13 July 2019.

On Saturday 13th July Avon County will be attending the Bristol Pride Parade March to promote Scouting’s commitment to equality and building a more inclusive society. Joining 12,000 others we will be marching to spread the word that Scouting is open to all and that we represent the diverse communities that we work within.

This year will mark 50 years since the Stonewall Riots, the birth of the Pride movement, and 10 years of Bristol Pride. As such we are hoping for a fantastic turnout from the County to come together and celebrate the occasion.  Let’s remember where we’ve come from, celebrate where we are and show that Scouting advocate for a future of true equality for all.

If you are an adult, or have explorers aged 14 and over who wish to attend – then you can now sign up to join us through the following link

Once you sign up, we will send you further information, so ensure that you sign up no later than 28 June 2019.

If you have any questions regarding the event please don’t hesitate to contact Isabelle Mills on Isabelle.mills@avonscouts.org.uk.
