Local Training Manager (Cabot District)     Following the recent appointment of Rex Meaden as Assistant County Commissioner (Cub Scouts) there is now a vacancy for a Local Training Manager in Cabot District. A role description is available below which gives an outline of what is involved. Commitment to the Association's Adult Training Programme and Avon County's learning provision are essential, together with willingness to support District and Group managers in their responsibility for ensuring that leaders are suitably trained. The Local Training Manager works principally in the District and familiarity with Cabot, its Groups and GSLs may be an advantage. However, this is a County appointment and interviews will be conducted by the County Appointments sub-Committee. Volunteer Wardens, Woodhouse Park  The County provides a range of activities and camping facilities at Woodhouse Park. There is an increasing demand for these to be made available to our young members in the evenings.
