Notes: -
Both competitions are aimed at providing a fun and competitive events between Scouts.  It is open to all Scouts who have previous experience of handling and shooting safely an air rifle & a bow.  These activities will be supervised by NSRA & GNAS qualified officers as appropriate.

Air rifles will be supplied for the competitions.  NO PERSONAL GUNS are to be brought to the competition.  No specialist shooting equipment such as slings, shooting glass, shooting jackets will be allowed other than a blinder.  A paper zero confirmation check target will be on the Field Target Course.  Five shoots maximum will be allowed for the sighting check.

Trophies presented to the Group/Unit of the winner in each of the categories and certificates for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places.

Competitors shall be at the range for detail before their shoot to score the shoot for their fellow competitor.  Competitors must be fully prepared for their detail, and once the detail has commenced must complete the detail without leaving the firing point.

Score cards must be completed and returned to the scorers immediately after the detail.  Failure to submit scores will mean a no score being recorded.

Archery: - Will be based on a Junior Schools Shoot; consisting of a practice followed by the best of 12 arrows.

Bookings will close early if oversubscribed.  Leaders note activities and camping notifications are required for these events in accordance with POR (Policy, Organisation & Rules).
