The county is seeking to recruit a standby Unit Leader for our World Jamboree unit going to Sweden this summer.  Sadly, due to personal circumstances, one of the current team may be unable to attend the jamboree, so there is now an opportunity for a standby leader to support the team in the remaining run-up period, and to be available at short notice to travel with the unit to the Jamboree if that becomes necessary.  You would need to be available on the following dates :

• 15^th June: Unit / parents meeting in the evening
• 8^th – 10^th July: Unit training weekend
• 24^th July – 11^th Aug: Jamboree in Sweden

There will also be a significant time requirement outside of these meetings as the unit prepares for the jamboree, and you would be expected to play a full part in this work.  If you are asked to attend the jamboree, there will be a cost of up to £1800.  The county will pay this up front, and you will be able to agree a payment plan to pay the fee over a reasonable timescale.
