Scouts Celebrate St Georges Day 2015

Added 21/04/2015 test

With St Georges Day falling midweek this year, district celebrations across the county have been split over two consequetive weekends.

On Sunday 19th April, over 400 young people and their leaders took part in Bath District's St Georges Day outing to Crealy Adventure Park in Devon. After a short parade, and a promise renewal ceremony lead by local Network members, the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers (and their leaders!) enjoyed several hours of rides, adventure playgrounds and fun!

Over the coming weekend, Scouts from other districts across Avon will be taking part in parades, fun days, and trips out. 700 Scouts from Cabot District will be descending on Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire for their annual promise renewal (as well as a chance to meet some real life cubs!)

Meanwhile, over 30 Network Members from across the County will be attending the annual St Georges Day Parade at Windsor Castle, to celebrate the completion of their Queens Scout Award.
