We have set aside Mondays 12 May, 9 June and 7 July 2014. This is for leaders and adults involved in Scouting & Guiding, to experience kayaking/canoeing without the pressures of looking after their groups of young people.

So if you wish to sample what you are booking for your Scouts/Guides or just have a wish to try it, these sessions are for you.

Bookings are being taken through Dave Miles. You will also need to submit an ADULT ACTIVITY NOTIFICATION in accordance with your respective organisation's rules.

BCU Paddle Power Course

This is being offered over the weekend 17/18 May 2014 and is open to Scouts and Guides between the ages of 10 and 14 years old. So if you can float for 5 minutes and swim 50 metres in clothes worn for the activity including a buoyancy aid, would you like to learn and develop some paddling skills in a fun and exciting weekend programme?

All who complete the course will receive a BCU Paddle Power Start certificate and work towards the BCU Paddle Power Passport Award.

The course is at Benjamin Perry Boathouse. Changing, showers and toilet facilities are available plus, the maximum course size is 16. See the ASAGCC website http://asagcc.org.uk for further information, details and directions.
