  • Volunteers from Avon to Make Jamboree Possible

    In Summer 2015, over 40,000 Scouts from around the world will gather in Kirara-Hama in Japan for the 23rd World Scout Jamboree. They will enjoy a range of activities and experiences.   • Japan 2015: International Adventure Awaits for Avon Scouts

    In Summer 2015, 3500 members of Scouting from across the UK will be travelling to Kirara-Hama in Japan for the 23rd World Jamboree. Among them will be 72 young people, and 8 adults, from Avon making up two whole contingents. The county held a Jamboree selection day at Woodhouse Park in January, with the young people being given ten challenges to complete. Read more
