  • Cubs in Centenary Cup Cake Competition

    It's not a proper birthday without a cake, and Cubs from across Bath have been busy decorating birthday cakes to celebrate 100 years of Cub Scouting.  In the city-wide competition, the Cubs created their own designs with icing, jelly beans, chocolate and fruit. Read more

  • Clutton and Midsomer Norton Scouts share stories around the campfire

    Twenty Beaver Scouts from Clutton and Midsomer Norton Scout Groups, with young leaders from Saxon and Titan Explorers, slept over at Radstock. Activities included outdoor tent pitching led, in the wind and rain, by young leaders from Titan Explorers; a treasure hunt, mini-catapult and camp blanket making, build-your-own beaver and human hungry hippos. Read more

  • Beavers, Cubs and Scouts share Christmas Campfire

    Over 80 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from 66th Bath (Weston Village) Scout Group, along with their leaders, enjoyed a Christmas Campfire together at their local Scout Campsite. The boys and girls, aged 6 to 14, gathered at Bath District's Cleeve Hill campsite for an evening of songs and skits around the fire. Read more

  • DofE Participant earns Black belt

    Over the last six and a half years of dedicated and continuous training, Lewis Harrison gained this fantastic achievement. Well done Lewis! On the day of the competiton, after two and a ½ hours of training, Lewis Harrison successfully achieved and was awarded his Black Belt in GKR (Go-Kan-Ryu) Karate. Read more

  • Dancing Beavers raise over £700 for Children in Need

    Twenty two Beaver Scouts from the 26th "Blaise" Colony in North Bristol raised over £450 for Children in Need, by holding a sponsored Danceathon.  This fundraising was increased to over £700 as a result of a generous donation from the Lloyds Bank Foundation. Read more
