  • i.Rock. Could you?

    You don't need to be able to climb the highest rock face, hold a national qualification, or even have any prior experience - all you need is a little dedication to learn to climb, abseil or use the high ropes. Across Avon there are approximately 50 authorised Scouters who provide Climbing/Abseiling/High Rope activities to members - are you interested in joining the team? Training/assessments are available throughout the year, and County kit is available for hire. Read more

    Join our Activities and Programme Team There are over 12,000 members of Scouting in Avon. Avon is very fortunate in having Activity Units and Support teams providing a great range of training opportunities and adventure to Young people and Adults. We are now looking to expand both the range of the provision and volunteers involved. Read more

    Weston-Super-Mare 15th June 2013 Calling all beach boys and girls!  Following our fantastic success of NEX10 there will be more live bands, BBQ, candy floss and fierce intersection  and inter-unit competition. Those mocktails don't make themselves so if you want to make it happen, get involved. Read more
