  • 1st stoke gifford scouts return from Cyprus

    We have recently returned from a foreign trip to Cyprus where we camped with the 48th Dhekelia scout troop. The camp/ trip took nearly a year to plan but the 16 scouts and 8 adults had the time of their lives, scuba diving, sea kayaking, sailing, rafting, swimming, fishing, hiking, pioneering. Read more

  • Camping in all winds and weathers

    Camping competition Despite this weekend's stormy weather, the County Camping Competition was a great success with 14 teams taking part.  Thankfully, the tents didn't blown away. Scouts enjoyed themselves with all sorts of activities and showing off their camp craft skills. Read more

For the first time, we're offering an additional alternative Promise that will allow those who have no faith to promise to do their best, to uphold our Scout values and to do their duty to the Queen.   • No such word as "can't"

    Zoe is a Cub Scout. Although she relies on an electric wheelchair for mobility, at District Cub Camp she saw that the sky's really the limit. In Scouts there's no such word as can't! Well done, Zoe.  Read more
