Media Visits
The media are welcome to visit this event.  It would be helpful, however, if contact was made with Philip Bird before arriving, and again on arrival.  Special parking arrangements are in place for media vehicles, and Media Vehicle Passes are issued by Philip Bird.

2000 Event
County Scout and Guide Jamborees are only held every four years, so the previous event was the Millennium Jamboree in 2000.  The website at www.avonscouts.org.uk/camp2000 provides information on that event, and provides a general indication of the sort of things that will be happening at this years event.
