What's
it all about?
The
Explorer Belt is an award open to older Explorer Scouts (aged 16+) and members
of the Scout Network. It is a ten-day expedition that brings a real understanding
of a different country, its people and way of life.
The Explorer belt has been described as 'the antidote to the package holiday' as it is designed to help young people develop a real understanding of another country by exploring the country as as member of a small team, meeting local people and completing surprise projects.
