What is it?
For many years the University of Bristol Guide and Scout Club have organised the International Cooking Competition (ICC) for the Scouts and Guides of Avon. Unfortunately, the club is currently not in a position to organise the event and so the Avon Scout International Team have decided to organise and run the event until the club is in a position to take over the organisation again

The 2006 ICC will occur on Saturday 29th April at Woodhouse Park and the event will consist of a number of activities and cooking an international meal. The competition is open to teams of 4 to 6 Scouts or Guides and there will be three trophies available

Patrols can cook on either wood or gas; this choice will not affect the marks in the cooking competition but will affect the overall marks. This is because of the additional factors in cooking over a wood fire. The cost of the event is £2 per Team - entry forms are being sent out via the ACC/ADC(Scouts).

Because Avon Scouts hosted some Serbian Scouts after EuroJam, the theme for 2006 will be "Serbia and Montenegro".

Badges will be on sale at £2 per badge - the proceeds of which will go towards the development of Scouting in Kosovo. Altar fires are available to be hired at £1.50. On registration, teams will be sent a list of ingredients that are required for the meal, a breakdown of the scoring scheme and basic information on Serbia and Montenegro.
