the lives of literally thousands of young people, volunteers and
our wider community. There are many ways you can kick-start your
adventure, as a young person, parent or adult volunteer. Our
volunteers get involved on their terms and not all roles involve
working with young people. If you can give a little time (or a lot)
to help improve young lives in your community, we'd love to hear from

IN YOUR COMMUNITY
In Avon there are 10,000 Scouts aged 6-25 and this number is
growing. In fact our numbers have grown every year for 9
FOR ADULTS TOO
Over 1,500 adults volunteer their time to support scouting in
the County. Volunteers donate as many hours as they like and cover
a vast range of roles from working with young people on the ground
to offering their particular expertise in accountancy, marketing,
management and administration. Whatever time you have to offer and
whatever role you would like to perform Avon Scouts would love to
hear from you.
AND WE HAVE ONE COMMON PURPOSE...
To promote the development of young people in achieving their
full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as
individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local,
national and international communities.
