OS Grid Reference: ST 716662 Bath District Scouts welcome you to their District Campsite on the edge of the famous World Heritage City of Bath. Just 11 miles from Bristol, 25 from Weston-super-Mere and 30 miles from the Mendip Hills, Cleeve Hill camp site can accommodate up to a District sized event within a gently sloping 5.5 acre camping area, two campfire circles, toilet blocks, hard standing car park and the Scott Cabin (sorry not suitable for Pack Holidays) with kitchen area which is also ideal for meetings. Cleeve Hill is ideal for District, Troop, Patrol or Pack camps and a great site for a traditional camp, a base to explore the surrounding area or a site if you are following the Cotswold Way, the Monarch way, as part of a Duke of Edinburgh or similar expeditions or following the 13 Mile Bath to Bristol Railway route on foot. The site is only a few minutes drive from the local shops including Tesco and only 10 minutes (bus stop close by) from the centre of Bath with all its attractions including the Roman Baths, the Costume Museum, The American Museum and many other historical Museums. As well as a world famous rugby ground and the local leisure centre. Away from Bath you have the beaches at Weston-Super-Mare, Bristol Zoo, SS Great Britain, Stonehenge and many other attractions. There is something for everyone to see or do in the area.
