MUD!Visit the Picture GalleryWhat can we say about the weekend apart from MUD. Lots of it. Everywhere - and by the end of the weekend - in everything. It rained for the week before the camp. It rained for most of the camp. And the more rain that fell - the more mud appeared. ![]() The mud affected some of the activities - mud in the tents, mud in the sleeping bags, mud in all the clothes, It is very difficult to distinguish between individuals by sight, as you can see from the following pictures. With some of the activities, this did matter - even the abseiling, go-karting, assault course. With other activities, the mud did not matter too much - the computer rooms which were used for desktop publishing, internet cafe, website publishing (which started these pages off) and computer games. There were other indoor activities which were available out of the rain, including the global development village, the brain drain (games, quizzes, code breaking), skills bases, flight simulator, playstation, the futures dome which contained future ideas about the way the world may look, and the 'tardis' which contained crafts.
