"Day is done, Gone the sun" but where was it in the first place? The guiding contingent were strongly repesented, and easily distinguishable by the neatness of tent spacing and the cute songs about little green frogs.

The mud and rain failed to dampen even one spirit all weekend. When rain tried it's hardest every one moved inside to the marquees to do some arts and crafts such as T-shirt printing, 'Saftey pin flag' or 'toilet roll rope' making .

Some of the more popular indoor activities were the IT centre with it's internet cafe where many people found time to surf the web, check and send emails. Also the 'brain drain' where there were games and puzzles to tax all strengths and sizes of brains.

On a more poignant note, the global development village strived to educate us all, with an instructional video about coffee and fair trading with third world countries. I especially enjoyed watching the brownies and Rainbows indian singing with sticks (probably not the correct term but I liked it none the less)
