What is Network and what do we do?

Answer: Anything we want! Our network is dedicated to tailoring our programme to suit all our members and we are open to suggestions. The list of possible activities, projects and events is almost endless! There will almost certainly be something for you. You will also have the opportunity to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, as well many other challenging Scout Awards. By joining Scout Network a whole world of opportunity opens up to you. What you and your Network do is up to you.

Can I join Network?

Are you between the ages of 18 and 25? If so, the answer is yes. Although some Network members are also Leaders and Assistants however, others have never been involved in Scouting before. Now is the time to start. When you become a Network member, you can take part in almost any activity or event organised by the 237 Networks across the UK. What more can you want?

When and where do we meet?

We usually meet between 8pm-10pm every Monday evening in Brislington, Bristol (please email for exact address). However, due to our diverse programme, times and meeting places change due to the various activites we do. To keep up to date with these and see our most recent activities, take a look at our programme.

How much does it cost?

Again, this varies depending on the activity we do. You will always be informed of the cost before hand. Excluding activities, it will cost £5 a month which goes towards your membership to the Scout movement and hire of the headquarters. Any money left over after these costs are covered goes towards your own personal costs of events and activities.

Is there a uniform?

For most activities, casual uniform is usually worn which consists of a polo shirt with our own logo on the front (as sported at the left of the page) and a name of your choice on the back.

Not yet 18?

Are you between 14-18? Why not consider Explorer Scouts - the next best thing! Our local unit is Supernova Explorer Scout Unit. They can be found here:
