New District Commissioners Announced PDF Print E-mail
News - Avon Scouts

After an open and rigorous search and selection process, the County Commissioner has announced the appointment of three new District Commissioners (DCs).

In Cabot, Isabelle Mills moves from her current Assistant District Commissioner for Beaver Scouts role to take up the challenge.  In Bath, Stephen Collins who was a Group Scout Leader takes up the DC role.  In Brunel the new DC is Lucy Holtum, who works for a leadership development organisation and is returning to Scouting after quite some time away.

Each of them brings considerable talent and relevant experience from their wider lives to the roles and each has fresh ideas and perspectives on how best we can develop and support Scouting to continue to grow across Avon.

The County Commissioner will be attending the relevant District AGMs and will introduce the new District Commissioners so you will have chance to meet them on the following dates, if you haven’t met them before.

  • Bath – 22nd June
  • Cabot – 6th July
  • Brunel – 29th July
