Stop Press: Walk in my footsteps

We have been asked if we can support a charity as part of the event. We are therefore asking everybody attending to bring a pair off old shoes along to the event where they will be collected and reused in developing countries rather than going to landfill sites in the UK. At the same time the project will also support the work of the Variety Club – The Children’s Charity. Further details of the charity can be seen at

Collection points will be set up at each of the District Bases.

Although there is little opportunity to promote this can you please do all you can as this is a  really great opportunity to live up to our aim to help other people as we gather together to renew our Promise.
