Throughout 2011 Bristol Zoo Gardens is celebrating its 175^th birthday – a major achievement that makes them the 5^th oldest Zoo in the world! Their birthday will be celebrated on Saturday 16^th July with a Village Fete for the whole of Bristol.

 

The Zoo is producing a special programme to mark the occasion, which will provide information on the variety of music and dance acts performing. They are keen to distribute the programme to local communities in and around Bristol, towards the end of June, and will pay us £1 for every one that we can sell – the selling price is £2.
